Web Settings Management

Manage your online ordering site by creating new websites, configuring delivery zones and hours, updating branding, and viewing customer insights.

Creating a New Website

To create a new website URL attached to your main site:

1. Click the Create New Website button.
2. Select the main site to attach the new URL.
3. The system will suggest a safe URL based on your input.
4. Click Create to save the new website.
5. The new website will appear below for further editing.

URLs are generated safely to avoid conflicts and ensure proper encoding.

Websites Overview

The Websites section shows a list of your websites, including:

• Location and URL of each site.
• A red bin icon to delete a URL.
• A spanner (wrench) icon to open website settings for editing.

Customers Overview

Access customer insights and manage orders:

• View the Top 10 Customers by default.
• Navigate forward and backward to browse more customers.
• Sort customers ascending or descending; ties are sorted alphabetically.
• Click a customer to view:
  • Their 10 most recent orders, including date, price, and items sold.
  • Customer details: name, email, and total order count.

Configuring Web Settings

Click on the spanner from web Settings to view and edit the site specific settings for the website. This is not to be mixed with site specific settings that are needded for the physical site. When editing a website:

General Settings

There are two main toggles that are necessary for the running of your website. Firstly there is an open/close toggle that will close the online website but will not change the status of your physical hours. Secondly, the delivery toggle is needed to allow our delivery functionality.

Delivery Settings

Manage your delivery options and zones:

• Toggle delivery availability on or off (physical drop-off).
• Set delivery-specific operating hours.
• Define the delivery zone by clicking points on the map to create a polygon:
  • Click points to create boundaries.
  • Use Undo to remove the last point.
  • The polygon automatically closes itself.
  • You can create holes in the zone (exclude areas inside the polygon).
  • Use Reset to start over.
• Press Save to store changes to the database.

Delivery zones ensure you only offer delivery where service is available.

Web Header Settings

Customise the header on your website:

• Set the Site Name and Description displayed in the header.
• Upload or update your logo:
  • Click the logo button to add a new logo file.
  • Preview the uploaded logo (cropping may be available).
  • The current logo is always visible.
• Press Save to update the settings.
