Can you go paperless?
Yes. Beamy supports fully paperless workflows by using digital receipts and on-screen order tracking. You can still connect a printer if you prefer, but it’s not required.
How can I pay my subscription?
Subscriptions can be paid by credit card or direct debit. Payments are managed securely through your Beamy account settings.
How do I change my payment option?
Log in to the Beamy dashboard, go to Settings > Billing, and update your payment details. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

Can I upgrade or downgrade?

Do I really need Wi-Fi?
Yes, Beamy relies on Wi-Fi to sync orders, products, and payments across devices. Without Wi-Fi, the system cannot communicate properly.
Do my devices need to be the same?
No. Beamy works across both iOS and Android devices. You can mix and match as needed.
Can I customise colours?
Yes. You can adjust certain theme settings (like light or dark mode), but full colour customisation is limited to ensure consistent usability.
Can I swap to a new device?
Yes. Simply install the Beamy app on the new device, log in with your existing account, and assign its purpose (POS, KDS, or companion).
Can I create a miscellaneous product? Do I need a set price?
Yes. You can create a miscellaneous product with either a set price or leave it open for manual entry during checkout.
