Products

Click on the Products section to expand it.

On the left-hand side, you’ll see a list of all products that have been added. Each entry shows the product name and which recipes it’s used in.

Use the search bar to filter products by keyword. All products are listed by default, but the list will update in real time as you type.

To Add a New Product:

1. Click Add Product

2. Complete the form:

   • Product Name – This is the name displayed in your recipes.
     • Example: Cream Cheese, All-Purpose Flour
   • Price – Enter the cost of the item in dollars.
     • This value is crucial for accurate cost of goods calculations.
   • GST Included – Use the toggle to specify whether the price includes GST.
     • Indicating this correctly ensures accurate price comparisons.
   • Unit of Measure – Enter or select a unit such as kg, grams, bag, carton, or jar.
     • Units you enter will be saved for future use and appear in the dropdown.
   • Supplier – Enter or select the supplier name.
     • This is a flexible input field. Once a supplier is added, they’ll be saved and appear in future dropdowns.
     • To create a new supplier, simply assign a product to them.

After adding a product, it will automatically appear in your full product list.
